Yeah, there are some nutso workouts out there. Though more volume does not mean better. Sure, the ability to get through stuff like that is impressive, but are not necessarily a great training stimulus.

Re: Crazier than us...

Anything like this, which is a bit similar to GymJones is gonna:

- take a lot of time

- you also need to simply hydrate and eat way more - this is tougher than you might think

- it's for a specified demand, namely surviving BUDS are any of the SpecOp training programs

RescueAthlete is a bit like it but looks far less intense.

If you were to add in CFMP or CFM programming + CFE; it starts to become something like this. There are some people out there doing CFFB+CFE. But it takes more time. You have to be tricky with programming because burnout can happen easier than you think.

Again, not for the novice at all and it's for those with specific demands.

Bare in mind, in basic training or BUDS, you are gonna hit with doing some form of physical exertion say 6x a day. Possibly even more compounded with little rest.

As well BUDS is basically a screening filter to see who can do it with a high percentage washing out. It's not really a program that you could do year round. But SealFit is not exactly BUDS.
